Alyssa Lara is a Filipino-American writer and filmmaker, focused on directing personal narratives about coming-of-age in the contemporary age. She holds a bachelor of fine arts in film production from Emerson College, where she premiered her play, 'ALL NIGHT: at a party in the suburbs,' and completed her thesis film, 'A Memory Play.' Her written work has been previously published in Wack Mag, Paris/Atlantic, and em Mag. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
