Elsis Saravia (they/them), is a 17-year-old transmasculine lesbian filmmaker based in unceded Chochenyo Ohlone territory, the Bay Area. Saravia’s first short film, He Finally Left, was an official selection and finalist for an array of film festivals. It earned them a full ride to the California State Summer School for the Arts. Their latest film, Revolucion o Muerte is a meaningful addition to their growing filmography and a love letter to their mother and Salvadorean roots. When Saravia isn't making or watching films, you can find them scrambling over college applications, dabbling in film photography and reading.
